Simply the Best

Amsterdam & Zurich
September 17th - 25th

Discover the endearing duality of Tina Turner's dynamic yet peaceful personality through two contrasting destinations: Amsterdam and Switzerland! Like Tins's song "River Deep – Mountain High", we invite to marvel at the canals of Amsterdam and the mountains of the Swiss Alps

“Sometimes you have to let everything go - purge yourself. If you are unhappy with anything - whatever is bringing you down - get rid of it. Because you will find that when you are free, your true creativity, your true self comes out.”

— Tina Turner

Day 3 : September 19th - Today will start with "Rolling Down the River (canels)" like "Proud Mary".  Amsterdam is known as the Venice of the North, and with its boat-lined canals along every street, it's easy to understand why. However, with over 1000 more bridges than venice and a 62-mile-long canal belt, perhaps Venice should be known as the Amsterdam of the South. After time for lunch, contine on to visit the Royal Palace.  The official home away from home for the Royal Family.  late afternoon, take a break for a bit of R&R.

Full Throtal Option:  For those not ready to stop, book our optional bike tour, one of the best ways to to experince Amstrdam.

"Private Dancer:" early evening, head out for dinner and visit the famous and heavily regulated Red-Light district. Here, nothing is left to the imagination. In quite a surreal fashion, this red light district is actually centered near a church, Oude Kerk, which is the oldest building in Amsterdam. An elementary school is also located on the same street.  Instead of a peek show, you will have a peek into the workings of true iberalism on a private tour of one of a brothel.  Of course, you are not required to enter.

Day 4: September 20th - "BEF – Ball of Confusion" is a way to describe the chaos on May 10, 1940, when German the army unexpectedly invaded the war-netural Netherlands.  Visit the Anne Frank House to reflect on themes of love, hope, and resilience, as Tina Turner's life was marked by personal challenges and triumphs. Every year, millions of people travel to Amsterdam to see where Anne and her family hid from the Nazis. You will travel back in time to the Amsterdam of WWII and experience the emotion and hope of Anne Frank during the dark days of the war as her story unfolds. After the tour, have time for fun muchin' and lunchin at one of Fleace favorite locations. After lunch, head to South Amsterdam to explore the P.C. Hooftstraat at your own pace. Everybody in the Netherlands knows this street. It's definitely one of the best shopping streets in Amsterdam, and probably even the country.

This open air museum gives you a glimpse into  traditional houses, working windmills. and wooden clog marking.  The windmill De Katlast  is the last remaining wind-powered paint and dye mill in the world, it was built between 1646 and 1696.

Day 7: September 23rd  - "What Love has to do with it?" ... EVERYTHING! The two were togehter 27 years and married in 2013.  Their relationships proves that love and compatibility can transcend age differences, race, and geographical location.   It is said that Tina fell in love with Switzerland because of its serene environment, safety, and the Swiss respect for privacy.
