October 17th to 25th 2024

A luxurious offer we could not refuse! More about that on tour.

Inspirited by BlackGirlTravel fan, actress/producer Gabrielle Union (as mentioned in her documentary My Journey to 50),  and fashion mogul Naomi Campbell, Globalnista (formerly BlackGirlTravel) founder Fleace Weaver will take her annual international birthday celebration to Africa in 2024.

This will be a joint re-birth-day celebration as we step away from trama and into a period of shared self-discovery,filled with love, wellness, peace, and reconnection, mixed with the merriment of authentic sisterhood bounding beyond the cliches.  You are invited to celebrate your own special Black Girl Magic on this incredible journey that could only happen on the continent of Africa.

ITINERARY

Day 1: October 17th - USA: Depart from USA  (Flight suggestions in December)

Day 2: October 18th -  Arrival at Narobi's Jomo Kenyatta International Airport by 11 AM  (group transfer at 12:30 PM). Nairobi, is the largest city in East Africa.  It is also the youngest, the most modern, and the fastest-growing.  After arrival, there will be a welcome to or back to Africa lunch and city tour.

Day 3: October 19th  - Visit a Manyatta, which is a traditional Maasai village. The Maasai are gentle, yet courageous noble tribes that have retained most of their traditions, lifestyle, and lore. Up until recently, the only way for a Maasai boy to achieve warrior status was to single-handedly kill a lion with only a spear to prove his physical, but more importantly, his mental strength.  The Maasai are a fierce people, and taking on a warriors is not just “ill-advised,” it’s suicidal. It is for this reason, that the British could not colonize the Maasai.  You will spend the day learning about their traditions. You will meet baby Rose. One of our ladies had the privilege of naming her on the December 2023 tour.  There will be a special birthday ceremony and celebration during the visit.  Later, the celebration will contine back in Nairobi with a turn-up.

Day 4: October 20th  -Today early morning, fly to Mombassa on the Kenya coastline.  Also known as the Blue and White city, Mombassa was the capital of Kenya while under British rule.  On arrival, you will explore the city of Mombassa, visiting places like the old town and Fort Jesus Museum. Later, head to the coast  a sun-drenched oasis at a luxury beachfront resort that will be OUR re-birth-day central for the next 5 nights. You will be surrounded by a welcoming atmosphere  of warmth, elegance, and exclusivity.

Day 4: October 21st - Today will be all about renewal with pampering of your mind, body, and spirit. The relaxing day will include afternoon yoga, a rejuvenating spa treatment, and guided ancestral reconnection, which we have named The Re-Union as a bow of respect and appreciation for being inspired by Gabrielle Union and her My Journey to 50 documentary.

Day 5: October 22nd - Your transformation journey continues beneath an African sunrise and fluttering white sails on the pristine blue waters of the Indian Ocean.  Relax as the waves carry you away to peace and mindfulness in shared moments while sipping Mombassa Mimosa.  Return for an event in white long flowing dresses and  sisterhood that will open your heart chakra. Later lose yourself in spirit releasing dance and the beat of cocktail shakers.

Day 6: October 23rd - Its Globalnista, which means another turn-up party MUST happen, and trust that this will be a BIG one!  All we  can say is ... if it is good enough for Naomi Campbell, it is good enough for us!  ;-)

Day 7: October 24th - Recovery Day! Sleep off the festivities of the previous night or sit in a post party coma under a white parasol with a hair/drink of the dog that bit you, also known as our famous "Crazy Fleace" drink.  In the evening, join the other ladies poolside for your last evening in paradise.

Day 8: October 25th - Say zwaheri (goodbye in swahili) until next time as you head to the airport with warm memories of your luxury experience in Kenya.   YOU WILL RETURN!
