BALI, INDONESIA

Bali ‘Island of the Gods" is a feast for the body, mind and spirit.
The picturesque island is a part of the Indonesian archipelago, a chain
of 17,000 islands strung across the Indian Ocean.

Peace & Serenity in 2024 (well, mostly!)

After two years of Covid lock-downs, it is time; eave your stress behind as you set off to discover the waterfalls, dramatic emerald-green rice fields, ornate temples, and colorful markets of Bali.

Meeting the people of Bali will be love at first sight! They are some of the nicest and most hospitable people in the world. For the Balinese, the path to well being is defined in the philosophy of Tri Hita Karana—maintaining good relations with God, good relations with people, and good relations with nature. Harmony is achieved by keeping the balance between the forces of darkness and light—through prayer, ceremony, and offerings to the gods and spirits. Yes, there will be nightlife among the calm. Life is about balance. Well, maybe not too much after a few glasses of wine.

Moving around by large buses in Bali can greatly increase travel time due to the heavy traffic on the few  small streets. It also limits activities. To make this an intimate and very personal experience, we have reduced the group size.

As always, repeat travelers will have priority reservations for the first week of bookings.

Nothing can prepare you for the sheer natural beauty of Bali. There is too much to see in one visit, but we will give you a Bali experience that can only be done with a small group of new friends.  Make sure to book your space early.

Our name and new look has changed but all tours will still be sprinkle with that Fleace Weaver planning magic that you have come to love. Photos and videos from our tours

Day 5 - April 5th - Tegalalang and the Bali Swing

swing.jpg

Thanks to Instagram, the Bali swings are the most photographed locations in Bali.  In the morning, start with a visit to the Tegalalang village which is famous for its stunning rice terraces that stand 600 meters above sea level. You will continue on to the  original Bali swing located in a canyon with river a waterfall view.  Imagine being suspend between two enormous and sturdy palm trees while gliding in mid-air over terraced rice fields, waterfalls, and the tropical jungle.  Safety has always been a top priority. Hence, the swings are well-maintained and will be safely harnessed before each ride. You will have time for lunch and to enjoy other activities on the grounds.

Day 6 - April 6th - Lempuyang Temple

Today, you will travel to east Bali to visit Pura Penataran Agung Lempuyang in Karangasem. This has been a popular place to strike a pose at thanks to its Instagram-worthy gate in front of a pristine pool of water that reflects the sky. The spot has been dubbed the “Gates of Heaven” and is considered one of the most highly regarded temples in Bali.  You will have free time to wander the seven temples on the grounds at your own pace.  Make sure to wear comfortable shoes.

Day 7 - April 7th - Tanah Lot and Canggu

TanahLot.jpg

It's time to head to the sea!  Early in the morning, grab your luggage as we head toward the sea.  On the way, there will be a stop at the Tanah Lot Temple (Tanah stands for earth and Lot stands for sea). The name is quite appropriate considering its spectacular setting on top of an impressive rock overlooking the sea. Tanah Lot  plays an important role in Balinese spiritualism and mythology.

Canggu is situated on Bali's south coast — a beachfront destination offering panoramic views of the soft volcanic sand and rolling waves. After check-in, join your local guide for a walking tour. Later, enjoy a special evening out with the ladies celebrating Fleace's birthday. You know it will be amazing!

Mid-day, we will head to Seminyak, an upscale yet unpretentious beach town with shops and restaurants.  Here, you will begin your free day. The atmosphere in Seminyak is much more sophisticated and laid-back compared to Canggu, while the beach in particular is relatively quieter during the day. If shopping is not your thing, how about an optional relaxing spa day with a flower bath? Your day, your way.  Learn more about flower baths
