Our First Tour for Couples

When we began this journey to empower African-American women through international travel, most of our crew were flying solo. We were catching flights while being open to catching feelings. For some, walks down airplane aisles to foreign lands lead to wedding aisles. For others, with their heart's airplane mode turned off, they were ready to receive the signal of love in familiar places back home..

In honor of all the requests and in celebration of love, we are beyond happy to announce our first couple's tour. Share your love for our unique travel experiences with the love of your life.

Kenya and Tanzania for Couples

You are invited to get away for the breath of fresh air that comes with going to places with black faces.
East Africa is more than wildlife and the image of poverty as shown by western media. Most tourists travel to East Africa for the animals. We invite you to learn about the people and culture.

From October 30th to 8th, 2024, you are invited to join us in Kenya and Tanzania.

In Kenya's dynamic urban centers, like Nairobi, Mombasa, and Kisumu, a thriving Black upper class has emerged, creating a tapestry of contemporary African culture and lifestyle. Bustling and full of life, Nairobi is the colorful capital of Kenya. From its vast national safari park to amazing museums, rich local cultures, shopping, vibrant open-air nightlife, and a progressive multicultural food scene, Nairobi will not disappoint.

Zanzibar, the semi-autonomous archipelago off the mainland coast of Tanzania, with its white sandy beaches, crystal-clear waters, and breathtaking sunsets, sets the stage for romantic moments.

But it's not just the powdery sands and crystal-clear waters that make this place extraordinary; it's the rhythm of life that dances to the heartbeat of the Swahili culture. Today, it is known for its famous spice plantations, history (Stone Town being the capital), and diverse culture. Moonlight evenings center around the joy of eating and socializing, never too far from a relaxing sea breeze.

As always, expect to be wowed!.

Today, dress in your safari gear and be ready to walk the wild side, starting with a visit to the Nairobi National Park game for a game drive. This is a unique national park in Africa or even the world. It lies on the outskirts of the city and features wildlife living in a natural habitat against the backdrop of a modern city. Have your camara ready to capture the African lions, black rhinos, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, buffaloes, and giraffes.

GiraffeKiss.jpg

Speaking of giraffes, you cannot interact with the wild animals during the game drive, but have no fear; after the drive, you will head to the Giraffe Center to see and feed the famous Rothschild giraffe. These are the same giraffes from the famous Giraffe Manor next door. There is no need to go to the manor to interact with them because they are not loyal! LOL. The gentle giants will eat directly from your hands, or try a carrot for a giraffe kiss. This will be a day full of once-in-a lifetime memories. You will have some time to relax before a romantic night out.

After a stop to take in the  beauty, massiveness, and power of nature at work, you will head to a Massai village.

Massai Village.PNG

The Maasai are a semi-nomadic ethnic group primarily located in East Africa, mainly in Kenya and Tanzania. They are renowned for their distinctive culture, known for their tall, slender stature and vibrant traditional clothing, which includes colorful beaded jewelry and shukas (cloaks). Maasai tradition requires the killing of a lion by a boy alone (yes, alone) as a rite of passage to become a warrior.

On this journey, you'll witness their vibrant ceremonies and listen to the echoes of their ancestral stories. In 2022, one of our ladies was given the honor of naming a baby in the village. Ruth is our/your Globanista Maasai God Child. During the visit, following Massa tradition, our group and members of the tribe will be divided into two groups for intimate conversations about the importance of family ties, communal support, and intergenerational connections.
