Welcome to Singapore

Wednesday, May 21th Singapore is a pulsating metropolis that’s brimming with energy unlike anywhere else, and we are here for it! Before stepping foot outside the airport, you will be astonished. Do not worry; you will get the opportunity to explore all the sights within the airport during your departure wait time.

Transfer to the hotel for the tour orientation lunch. Have time to unwind after your flight before meeting the other ladies for an evening mixer at a special location.

.

Thursday, May 22nd:  See Singapore through the eyes of Kevin Kwan, author of Crazy Rich Asians. Visit locations mentioned in the book and featured in the movies, like where Colin and Araminta’s wedding ceremony was filmed, Peik Lin Goh’s family home, which currently rents for 45k Singapore dollars per month, and a giant vending machine full of luxury cars.

Dine at one of Singapore's popular restaurants that was featured in the movie.

Friday, May 23rd:

Love at first bite! With savory blends of mixed cultures, Singapore is a foodie's paradise, with an eclectic mix of old stalls, trendy cafes, and Michelin-starred restaurants. Eat your way through Hawkers Centers (open-air food courts) that carry the legacy of the old, vibrant street food culture.

After, visit the Sultan Mosque, formerly the royal mosque of the Sultan of Johor. The Sultan Mosque represents the solidarity and unity of Muslims in Singapore. The impressive building serves as a reminder of Malay royalty.

In the evening, have drinks and dinner at a rooftop venue.

Saturday, May 24th: In a city-state famous for its bold architecture, the futuristic conservatories at Gardens by the Bay in Marina Bay form a uniquely Signapre landmark. Your visit will include, but is not limited to, the Cloud Forest Dome, famous for its large artificial waterfall and luscious central mountain, the iconic Supertree Grove, the OCBC Skyway, and the aerial walkway through the Supertrees (pictured).

Bring the Glitz and Glam for a Saturday evening celebrating our birthday girls at a restaurant on the rooftop of the famous Marina Bay Sands.

Sunday, May 25th: With all the bright lights of the city, many people forget that Singapore is a tropical island.

Today you will head to beach club on resort island of Sentosa to lay back in sun loungers and relax while vibing to the smooth beats of the resident DJ

In the evening, enjoy a Globanista-curated sunset mixer.

Monday, May 26th : Art of Kintsugi

Traditionally, Kintsugi is the Japanese art of putting broken pottery pieces back together with gold—a metaphor for embracing the beauty of imperfection, resilience, and transformation, along with understanding that one can once again be beautifully whole after being broken. During this unique workshop, you'll learn to mend broken upcycled ceramics with gold powders to create a one-of-a-kind ceramic piece.

Later, meet on the rooftop for a black swimsuit and sunglasses golden hour mixer and a photo shoot.  For swimsuits think fashion/Vogue

Tuesday, May 27th :

Dive into the world of sake at a tasting with an expert sommelier.

Drinking sake is a multisensory experience. Different brewing and aging methods bring out a wide spectrum of aromas from the sake. This aroma encompasses anything from fruity and floral to nutty and roasted.

After the tasting, the day  is yours to explore on your own or with fellow Globalnistas. For the shopper, Singapore offers something for everyone, from classic high-end stores to edgy new designers to budget street markets.

If shopping is not your thing, maybe head to the Peranakan Museum, which has 10 galleries exhibiting more than 1,200 artifacts.

Wednesday, May 28th :  Time to say farewell for now as you head to the airport for flight home.
