Fleace Weaver, the pioneer in international group travel for African-Anerican women is known for her nothing is impossible spirit and as an advocate women living enriched lives. She founded the private BlackGirlTravel private travel club (now Globalnista) and Bella Italia in 2006 with one vision, to encouraging Black women to explore the world and expand their world of possibilities through international travel. She was the first to see the vision of a much needed niche market, that has since exploded. Her personality is often described as adventurous, dynamic, passionate, and inspiring due to her commitment to encouraging others to pursue their dreams and aspirations. while creating safe spaces for Black women, often focusing on countries where they are not typically seen as tourists or expats.
Weaver is recognized for challenging racial, gender, and age stereotypes and biases . Her contributions to community extend beyond travel. By fostering a sense of global citizenship and sisterhood, she has helped women gain confidence and create meaningful connections across the globe, with several international/intercultural marriages along the way.
With personal philosophies that revolve around empowerment, self-love, and the transformative power of travel, she has help individuals to step outside their comfort zones, dispel accepted limiting stereotypes, and forge new narratives about themselves and the world.
She also champions women gaining control over their lives and destinies through international relocations. By encouraging members to see possibilities, she has not only inspired other to travel internationally, to but also take leaps of faith and move to new countries.
Weaver serves as an inspiration by showing what is possible when one combines passion with a dream of helping others.
Her personality, vision, dedication and tangible impacts has made her a beloved sister and auntie to woman around the world.
