​​Overview  In 2006, we had a vision. It was not to become a travel agency; it was not to specialize in luxury travel or collecting passport stamps. Actually, it was not about travel in a general sense. Our goal was clear: to help Black women see themselves beyond the limited lens of the United States. The chosen destination was Italy, and Bella Italia, the African-American all-female trip to Italy, was born. In the beginning, over 90% of our members did not have passports; we became their portal to the world. Lives were changed in Italy, as many women returned home empowered by open-mindedness. Bella Italia, then BlackGirlTravel, became a buzz phrase that has inspired an entirely new niche market in the travel industry. We are the OGs, and to this day no one can do Italy like we do. They can copy our itineraries but not our passion and insider knowledge from a life lived, loved, and even cried in Italy.

For your return celebration, experience Italy differently! You will visit  Bari, Alberobello, Polignano a Mare, and Monopoli in Puglia the"spur" of the Italian boot shaped (lo stivale) peninsula  known for their welcoming and down-home spirit, along with Florence with its distinguished Florentine aristocratic Renaissance lineage.

This will be an AUTHENTIC Italian experience!
