Thailand - The return!

The 2020 ladies

Thailand is the only Southeast Asian country never to have been colonized by a European power. Thailand literally translates into two meanings, including "land of the free," since Thai means free, and "land of the Thais"

Day 1 : March 22 - Depart the USA

Book your flight to land in Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi airport by 1 pm on March 23rd.  We will send  flights suggestions in November as a courtesy.

From the moment you step off the airplane you will be impressed, awe-struck and mesmerized. After a late afternoon check-in, meet the ladies arriving from the Ethiopia tour.  You will have a Dubai  orientation before preparing for your extraordinary New Year Eve celebration, starting with dinner, followed by watching the famous fireworks at the Burj Khalifa and then on to party into the new year.

Day 2 : March 23 - Welcome to Thailand

Thailand -- the Land of Smiles will have you all smiles! From white sandy beaches, historic temples, mouthwatering food, and ever-smiling locals that make Thailand a perfect Globalnista feel-good destination.

Bangkok, known as the city of contrast, it’s an ancient kingdom steeped in history and tradition that is energetically intoxicating that pulses 24 hours a day.

After the group transfer to the hotel, take some time to unwind from your flight.  Later join the other ladies for city orientation by our local tour leader before heading out for dinner and your first glimpse of Bangkok by night.  Prepare for a sensory overload of sights and sounds.

Day 3: March 24th

After breakfast you will enjoy a walking tour then cross the Chao Phraya River by ferry to explore Thonburi, a former capital city of Thailand. After free time for lunch on your own, the day continues to Rattanakosin Island to visit Wat Pho -- the temple of the massive Reclining Buddha, temple of the Emerald Buddha, and the Grand Palace is the oldest temple in Bangkok. During the class you will also learn about Thai family life with Q and A. Did you know that there are at least 13 different smiles that a Thai person may use, each one having a very specific meaning? After the class, enjoy lunch with the convivial family of instructors. Pay close attention to their smiles.

Sleep off your delicious lunch while traveling to province of Samut Prakan to explore the world's largest outdoor museum, Mueang Boran also know as the Ancient City, which is 200 acres of landscaped gardens and tiny islands  preserving Thailand's cultural heritage. Straight out of myths, the mountain of Sumeru is the residence of spirits, considered as the center of the world in Buddhist and Hindu cosmology. This monument is at the center of Mueang Boran, surrounded by a lake and a reproduction of a sea monster. Mueang Boran is history lovers and photo enthusiasts wonderland.   End the evening arriving in  the beach city of Pattaya
